home sweet home
I went to my studio this morning to start some sewing projects for a swap I'm in. It was a mess. So what did I do? Clean it up? NO! I just moved everything outside onto the verandah. It is still so warm here so I thought I would make the most of it. Infact it is ridiculously warm for April. But it was fresh this morning, I even put my dressing gown on. What a nice feeling that is to feel a coldness in the air. Mind you it was all over by 8am! So this weekend is about being at home with the family, hoping only to venture out to the clothes line, sew and draw.
Mr A is currently asking lots of questions about what daddy does at work and is fascinated that he works on buildings. My husband is an engineer and after explaining some basic pointers to him, Mr A made a 'ginormous, biggest ever building site drawing'. He and Miss M have worked on it this morning. Although Miss M insists that mermaids should be in the drawing. I am always so amazed when they play so well together. I guess this means that somewhere in the world there are siblings spending their Saturday morning constantly fighting. My thoughts are with you if this was your children.

Girl's got a view.

Hej!
I think your post expresses, that everything and everybody is at exactly the right place and in the right mood. What is better, than a good discussion between kids and what is better than crafting outside!!!!
A big smile!!

I wish I had a studio to GET into a mess.
Its coming very slowly. One of the reasons it is so slow is because YES it is way too warm and nice for April. Being farmers we are starting to get nervous about this year!! It just has to rain.
Can't wait to see the new cards I'll be looking out for them.

Know what you mean about the studio! I encroach on other parts of the house too. Leaving trails of wool paper and plastic behind me. That view looks familiar...... Kuringai Chase? Pittwater?
Adorable children.

'My room is a mess, I know, I'll play elsewhere' is a tactic commonly employed in our house (kids and adults alike!
Looks like your weekend is shaping up to be a good one - enjoy!
