i can't think of a title

About a month or two after I began this blog, I decided that I wouldn't make it into a blog about my family, or at least not let that side of my life become the focal point that could be viewed by millions hundreds of strangers. I'll be honest and say that I'm inquisitive about people and their lives and I like to look into them and feel a connection with them, but I'm not one for ooohing and agghhhing about other people's children, dogs or cats on a regular basis. I'm drawn to what people, more so woman with a creative ability can do with their minds and hands. If you happen to have children (or animals)I just relate to you more I guess.

ANYWAY I'm getting off the track here. Back to the point of this post....There are many consecutive weeks where my art, work and craft simply get put on hold due to family. Have I posted about this before? Are you one of these people too? I'm in that zone right now. There are many things happening here and I feel like there are many incomplete projects rolling around my house and in my head waiting for May to arrive so I can finish them.

However, we are renovating and this week is not a good week to be in the way of sharp, loud tools and heavy door frames. So I'm out of the house and we are making the most of being together. Hence no craft, no art, just a photo of 'one of the family'. And please no ooohing and aaghing unless it is about all that wonderful yarn or my coffee on the table!

Let me get this straight:

You get to drink coffee?

In a yarn shop?

Am I dead?

I need a latte now. Great photo and girl shopping is so much fun, well when the littlest girls behave that is!

What a perfect place to sit and drink coffee.

As that photo started to download I thought it was your personal wool stash!!!!!
Just read your tutorial on relief printing.
I have just done a heap at a school I was working at (with the luxury of a great press) I was wanting to do more but haven't tried the good old spoon method. Thats what I am going to do right now. Well maybe one more blog first!!

Can I ooh-and-ahh about your daughter's little blouse? Its very cute and if you made it, would love to know where the pattern is from! I'm always on the lookout for anything not-pink for my girl bub and your little one's top is the first thing I spotted.

Yarn, coffee and cute company. Heaven!

I am relating very much to this post.

Funnily enough, I just found myself saying that in a really bad Indian accent.

It's hard to be all about the craft when your life is all about the family. As it should be.

I am going to write a letter to someone somewhere officially requesting more hours in the day.

would you belive that we sat at that same table on monday afternoon :) so good! see you soon...

Okay, so all your readers are shoe-fetishists. It's official, me included!

And how much of that lovely wool came home with you? Looks like a dangerous place for elevenses to me!

I'm sorry but the shoes are doing it for me too, it's the way she's crossed her toes. You can't post a picture like this and expect no oohs and ahhhs! The yarns are gorgeous (and such fabulous quantities) but the shoes take the biscuit!

I don't knit, but all that yarn does look spectacular, but I have to confess that I too ooh'ed and ahh'ed over the super cute red shoes! Do they come in my size?!

Those shoes with that yarn - love it.

I can't help it... she's too incredibly sweet-looking. And the shoes!
I will admit, though, it was the sight of those gorgeous colors in the background that got me at first.
As someone who rarely manages to find time for my own crafting, I'm totally with you on the post. So for now... my posts are mostly about the things *they* do :-)

Is it okay if I ooh and aah about the water bottle your daughter has? Oh, and the shoes? :0)

My friend and I were just talking the other day about how interesting it is to read about other bloggers - who they are and how their art and craft fits into their lives. It's very motivating to know that a busy mum is still making time for all of these great projects!

Ohhh, what a great shot! Those yarn colours are beautiful and I have to comment on the red Mary Janes too - very nice and considering I've been searching high and low for the past two weeks for red shoes for myself can I just say..I am jealous!

Okay, I won't ooh and ahh over the little one (although she is absolutely adorable in pig tails) but I will gush over her shoes! Little red mary janes? Scrumptious!
