obligatory first day snap. I asked him if he liked going to school and his response was. "I don't know. I did get bitten by an ant and that was a bit sad. But I liked building with the blocks. And I get to go back again mum."
Yes....for the next 13 years!

Don't they say the funniest things at this age. Lucinda was worried that her voice was a bit high when they practiced the National Anthem the other day. I'm sure we won't notice with the other 540 kids!!
I took the same type of photo as my 2 started at the begining of the week also! One in Kindy, the other grade one... I surprised myself by having a few tears. Glad your little man recovered so fast.
Hang in there luv, He's still your baby!
For the next 13 years and then some.........
Enjoy your free time and hug him hard when he gets home. Your sweet lil' girl too.
*sigh* We're in that boat next year. Funny, I've spent years thinking how wonderful it will be when the kids go off to school... Now it's a bit close for comfort and I'm not so sure!
that is such a good pic !!
Happy School Days - I love it all :)

What wonderfully logical thinking! I love that through the weighing of pros and cons building blocks cancel out an ant bite.
