I honestly can't remember when it has rained with this much constancy. It's Tuesday night and it has been raining nonstop since Sunday.
Mum says she's had 10 inches of rain in 2 days! Not as much down here in Brisbane, but what we have had has been just wonderful. The grass is so green. {and long} Although it isn't cold yet, I've seen plenty of people pretending that it is. Any excuse to wear something warmer after months of heat I guess. But really people, leave the long leather boots for winter!
A friend of mine sent me a photo of some berries taken on her recent trip to Tasmania. This, the rain and the yearning for a change in season, has sparked my inspiration. I've even been sewing these last few days.

and the bottom painting is the beginnings of something I had some time to work on last week. LAST WEEK? when will I get that time again?

Don't know how I missed this post - my fav colour, red. STUNNING painting. And love the berry photos too.

Gorgeous photos! Those berries are divine and I love the painting :) Isn't the rain just wonderful? It's thundering away here as I type... funnily enough, I've been dying to get into sewing as well! Must finish screenprinting for tea towel swap though ;) Have a lovely week Tiel. Kx
