still life

it's a genre that beckons me. I have posted about it before. 

I keep returning to the ideas and images I see in my head, and yearn for more hours in the day to paint.

Paint in away that I can be slower, embrace my thoughts and translate them onto a surface.

Decisions were made on the weekend about renovations to our house. The studio will be a priority and now that I have started to seriously consider that it might really happen soon.....well, I'm all a mess with

ideas, paint and paper.

I want the division and separation. I want the space.

I want to set up a still life and explore. The kitchen table needs to be a kitchen table.

Love this little still life.
I too hve many collections of still lives gathering on my kitchen table. For now it is my work, create, make, family living space. But soon - I'm not counting the weeks or months...... - I too will have a space and studio and table where I can set up those still life displays and not have to to move it for kitchen table living.
Can't wait to see your renovations and your studio space evolve. How exciting!
