Well I finally found out how to add word links onto my posts. I use Safari as my browser and according to typepad, safari doesn't support the rich text toolbar. (or is it that typepad doesn't support Safari)??? Anyhow, all my posts are now created using firefox...just somethin else to add to my computer!
This work below has been an insipiation to me for many years. I just love Lotte design. The artist is Turi Gramstad-Oliver and the work was designed for a Norwegian ceramics company called figgjo. I have a few pieces that I have picked up over the years. My mum had some when we were growing up too.
I also love these designs. I can't find much more about them. The vasese are ARABIA toimi vases. Isn't that butter dish great!
I also discovered some other Turi designs and this looks like some kind of embroidery. I love how organic it is.

i love the lotte ceramics as well. i didn't realise how many patterns there were tho. i don't have many pieces. quite expensive here in australia and not a great deal of it about. great blog! :)

I think Scandinavian design in general is fantastic. They always seem to create modern but at the same time classic pieces.
