Sometimes, I spend half an hour writing my posts. And then I delete what I have written. The words can often seem too sombre and this is often only a refelction of my week. For the most part all is good.

So, I'll keep it simple.

I'm getting closer to finishing some new work. I have times where I feel like I am just pushing paint around. And I find this so frustrating baseed on my daily time limits. But there are other moments of justifiable creation. Real purpose and satisfaction.

Below are some new paintings based on my interest in capturing the moments of change within nature.

winter

the weather here now is just perfect for me.

It's a wonderful combination of sunny, warm days for most of the week,  and the occassional wet, grey weekend or day to remind us that it is winter.

The colder nights and mornings make me happy knowing that I can layer my clothes and put the on the fire.

I feel so creative and inspired. Feeling positive and keen again to create.

On cooler days, my inner nanny comes alive and I feel all crafty. Old projects get dusted off and I find myself at the sewing machine or on the couch any spare moment I have. 

I plan on spending the next couple of months or so creating new and finishing various projects, then by spring I'll hopefully have plenty of new things to show.
