It's dry. We had a few millimeteres of rain here the other day for the first time in weeks. I'm not sure of the exact stats, but it hasn't rained seriously here since the June July holidays. Perhaps the storm clouds are saving themselves for the school holidays in September?
Oustide my window I see
olive. chartruese. sienna. grey. pink. pale blue.
The Jacaranda Tree is by far the star of the bottom paddock. The leaves are glowing and it's current state is equally as capturing as it will be in November when it flowers.
It beckoned me to go and visit, so I ventured down with camera in hand, the crunchy eucalyptus leaves under my feet. My eye alert for snakes and pot holes. Closer the tree is greener, less golden, but inpsiring all the same.
